Sourcing and Supply Chain

Alama Engineering Services has and can on certain circumstances provide supply services. This is becoming more and more difficult with worsening forex situation in Ethiopia. Therefore, it is more likely that we support clients on the sourcing (i.e selection, getting quotes etc) and no longer on actual importation and sales (getting forex, import & sales etc).

In order to secure the best sourcing possible, we have established long lasting and efficient relations with strategic partners in:

- Ravenna, Italy for European supplies,

- UAE, Dubai for Middle East supplies

- Guangzhou, China for Asian Sourcing

Our partners have now extensive knowledge of exporting goods to Ethiopia by air or sea as well as are able to support technically on the design and selection of equipment that best fit our customers need and budget

Test and commissioning

Alama Engineering Services is fully equipped with industry standard instruments (air flow meters, IR thermometers, Anemometers, differential manometers, pitot tubes, calibrated water pressure gauges, self priming hydrostatic pumps, etc) to test and commission autonomously the projects we undertake. We provide standard 12 months guarantee on our workmanship.

Should you require commissioning via a third party, our trading partners can support on HVAC and/or Fire related topics.

Maintenance Contracts

Alama Engineering Services provides complete diagnostic, report, preventive and corrective maintenance services based on one-time or periodic contracts for its existing customer base.

if the installation was done by a third party, conduct a preliminary free inspection, then a paid one-time full maintenance prior to establishing a contract.

ABOUT ዓላማ

Alama Engineering Services is an electromechanical contractor based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and providing MEP contracting services - mechanical (HVAC)/R and fire fighting works.

"ALAMA" in local Amharic language ዓላማ translates to either "Purpose", "goal" or "cause".

Alama prides itself in having an experienced and dedicated team of engineers and technicians with a successful track record on the ground. Over the years, we have executed a number of MEP (Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical) projects with specialization in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning and Refrigeration) & Fire-fighting equipment supply and installation. We are proud of making use of using Revit BIM software for detailed design, validation and material quantification.

Since its inception in 2010, Alama has earned quite a reputation for quality service & timely delivery to its nationwide customer base because we care. Today, Alama is constantly evolving in size, knowledge and equipment to better cater for its customers.
